Emotions are ephemeral and often neglected to be communicated or shared. Sometimes peaceful, tranquil, and mindful sensations are elusive to grasp. Watercolor painting has intuitive, impressionistic qualities that reveal the breaths, feelings, and mood beyond visuals.
As I pause to appreciate the surroundings, I use watercolors to describe the palpable joyful moments and share my sense of the world. Watercolor becomes a diary, a ritual, a therapy, and a practice. They are a collection of explorations, deliberations, and manifestations of my everyday life. While they well capture the temporal moments, I hope my paintings will not only serve as records or memories but also bring peace that uplifts and encourages us to enjoy the journey forward.
